In 1983 and in need of some extra cash while working in an Iron Foundry I learnt to drive coaches with John Penniston (Fairtax) I enjoyed it and was not enjoying shift work so left the foundry and went to work full time for John in the garage and driving.
On leaving Fairtax, Gilbert Kinch employed me and from there I went to Volvo as a mechanic and was selected to follow Dennis Brown into sales where I spent five years.
Plaxton followed where I became educated about manufacturing and then Evobus where I spent eight years running the Used Vehicle Department.
MAN then came calling and I spent over four years building the brand into what it is today.
John Hill Coach Sales Ltd. was formed in April 2013, after redundancy from my former employer.
The aim is to provide a service for operators selling and buying vehicles on your behalf.
